Priced on how many people you manage.
No ski area has the same footprint as the next one, so nothing here is bundled around someone else's operation. Every tier gets the same software — what changes is how many staff it covers, and whether the on-site gateway comes with it. Modules are individual and every piece of hardware carries its own rate.
Only active staff count. Seasonal workers you have terminated stay on file for your records and never count against the total, so a summer roster is a summer roster.
Pay by the year and you're charged ten months for twelve. Pay monthly if you'd rather — it costs more, because a register has to be bought, imaged and installed before it earns anything.
Ten months charged for twelve, paid up front. Month to month, cancel software at the end of any month. Hardware carries a 6-month minimum term.

The same software, whichever you pick
Tiers here are about scale, not features. Nothing below is held back for a bigger plan, and nothing is charged per login — a tier covers however many of your staff are on the roster.
Add the parts of the mountain you actually run
Modules are the same price on every tier, because what you run has nothing to do with how many people you employ. You shouldn't pay for a point-of-sale system in a year you haven't put a register in. Take one, take all eight, add one mid-season.
Point of Sale
$500/yr$63/moRegisters for retail, rentals and food service — tenders, drawers, X/Z reports, kitchen routing and offline sales.
Ticket & Gate Scanning
$500/yr$63/moValidate tickets and season passes at the lift or an event door, with velocity checks and a loud duplicate screen. Works with the link down.
Rentals & Equipment
$250/yr$31/moCounter check-out and check-in, deposit holds, per-item tracking and waivers bound to an equipment category.
Badge Time Clock
$250/yr$31/moStaff punch in and out on a badge reader instead of a sheet of paper. Feeds the same timecards and overtime rules.
Events & Event Ticketing
$500/yr$63/moPublish events, sell tiered tickets online and at the window, hold advance and gate pricing, and cap capacity.
Digital Signage & Audio
$450/yr$56/moScreens and in-house radio across the property, with a visual layout designer and dayparted playlists.
Weather & Conditions
$150/yr$19/moLive conditions from your own stations, a snowfall log that totals itself, and road status on your public site.
Advertising & Media
$790/yr$99/moSell your screens, your radio, your website and the back of every lift ticket to local businesses, with proof-of-performance reporting.
Priced by the unit, because your footprint is yours
Gateways, registers, scanners, ticket printers, badge printers, signage players, weather stations. Every unit carries a published rate — you can build your own number before you ever speak to us.
Hardware is rented, not bought, so a bad season isn't sitting on your balance sheet as depreciating equipment. The register price includes its receipt printer and cash drawer. Hardware taken month to month carries a 6-month minimum term. Installation and configuration are quoted with your site survey.

Questions you'd otherwise have to ask on a call
Why publish prices at all?
Because nobody else in this industry does, and operators tell trade press they have no idea what any of it costs. You should be able to work out whether we are plausible before you spend an hour on a call.
Why is it billed annually?
Because "ski season" is getting to be the wrong unit. Areas are working hard at making money the other seven months — bike rentals, summer events, a bar that doesn't close in April — and that revenue runs on the same registers, the same rental counter and the same staff records as the winter does. An annual term matches a system that doesn't switch off in spring, and paying up front costs ten months rather than twelve.
How do you count employees?
Active staff only, counted right now. When you terminate a seasonal worker their record stays on file for your own records and for compliance — four years, in the case of employment documents — but they stop counting against your plan the moment they finish. So a resort running seven people in August and thirty-nine in February is sized on the thirty-nine, and nothing you have to remember to tidy up affects the bill.
What happens if I go over?
Nothing stops. Hiring on a powder Saturday is not somewhere we are going to put a paywall, so the extra staff are simply billed at that tier's per-person rate for as long as they are on the roster. If your season regularly runs over, the next tier up is cheaper than the overage — we will tell you so rather than wait for you to notice.
Do volunteers count?
Yes, if they are on your roster as active. They use the same time clock, the same badges and the same scheduling as paid staff, so they take up the same room in the system. If that is a problem for how your area is run, say so — it is a switch, not an argument.
Can I add a module or a scanner mid-season?
Yes. On an annual term you pay only for the months left in it, at your annual rate rather than the monthly one — adding a second register in February costs you February onward, not a fresh year, and not a penalty for joining late.
Why does monthly cost more?
Because a register has to be bought, imaged, configured and installed before it earns a cent. A unit that goes out for a three-month season and comes back has cost us more than it made. Month to month is available and hardware carries a six-month minimum term; software you can stop at the end of any month.
What if I already have registers or scanners?
We don't support bring-your-own hardware. Every unit we bill for is one we image, update over the air and can replace — which is what lets us say a register installs itself and stays current.
Why rent hardware instead of buying it?
Because we replace it. Scanners and anything living outdoors are refreshed every three years, fixed equipment every five, at no extra cost — so you are never the area running gear too old for the features we have since built, and the replacement is not a capital request you have to justify to a board in a bad snow year.
Do I need the gateway?
If you want anything on site — a register, a scanner, a signage screen, a time clock — then yes. It is the only thing on the mountain that talks to the cloud, and it is why any of it keeps working when your internet doesn't. It is included from Snow Peak Base upward, which is why Starter is only right for an area that intends to run entirely in a browser.
What about card processing?
You bring your own processor. We integrate with Stripe, Adyen and Heartland, or record payments taken on an external terminal. We don't take a cut of your transactions.
Is there a setup fee?
Installation, configuration and data migration are quoted per site after a survey — they genuinely differ between a single lodge and a mountain with four buildings and a repeater on a ridge.
Tell us what you run and we'll put a real number against it.
